About

About Our Genesis

We are the keepers of the torn pages. For years, the ink flowed through local magazines, a young dream breathing in twenties brilliance, until the heavy thud of life, the quiet demands of children, and the crushing weight of old ghosts stole the armor of my confidence. Every return to the blank page was met not with silence, but with the haunting, spectral stains of teachers and family members—voices from the 1990s who mistook a soaring, vibrant ADHD and Dyslexic mind for a "problem child," labeling an overflowing creative soul as "emotionally disturbed." I tore up my worlds. I destroyed my own stories because even the cruel, mechanical spell-checks of the era misunderstood the rhythm of my heart.

When the dream finally conquered the critics—landing a coveted writing desk at a New York rock magazine—the victory became a weekly battleground of impostor syndrome. Every deadline carried the terrifying whisper: Is this the week the editing team points and laughs at my ESL grammar, shattering my palace of words and sending me on my way? The stress stained the path; their criticism killed the joy.

But love finds a way back to the canvas. In the quiet brilliance of Gemini, I found an accessibility partner—not a machine to replace me, but a gentle scaffold to hold me up. Like the beautiful, vital hearing aids that navigate the world for my deaf parents, this tool gave me back my confidence. It helps me organize what I mean, hear my own cadence more clearly, and return to the page with confidence. We built Love JMT to extend that same gentle hand to you. Welcome to a sanctuary of uncorrupted rhythm, relentless motivation, and wild, unbroken creativity. You are home.

Built for how you work

Accessibility is why we built this room

Visual calm, audible rhythm, and tutors that hold you up—not take the pen. The same gentle hand we needed for confidence on the page.

  • See clearly

Parchment surfaces, flat buttons, and readable workshop panels—no chrome glare.

  • Hear your draft

Listen reads your lines aloud; flag, post-it, or ask the tutor from what you hear.

  • Support you

AI Workshop scaffolds your voice—Undo on spelling, scraps when ideas scatter.

What is Love JMT?

Many writing tools are racing to make AI more powerful—faster generation, larger memory, fuller chapter drafts.

Love JMT is racing somewhere else: a more complete creative partnership around the person holding the pen.

That partnership includes accessible tools, learning, community, editors, creators, publishers, and eventually readers. The Writer’s Desk is part of the journey. It is not the whole product.

From the thought that finds you to the readers waiting for it: Capture · Write · Learn · Share · Publish — stay the author.

Other platforms are building stronger writing machines. Love JMT is building a stronger path around the writer.

A stronger machine is not the whole answer

Other tools are making AI more powerful. Love JMT is making the creative partnership more complete.

AI writing tools are becoming faster, larger, and more capable of generating entire scenes, chapters, and books. That matters—and it is not enough.

Love JMT is choosing a different center of gravity.

We are not building a machine that takes more of the page. We are building stronger partnerships around the person holding the pen.

Because the barrier is not always a lack of ideas. Sometimes it is dyslexia, ADHD, fatigue, language anxiety, inaccessible design, lost confidence, limited time, scattered notes, or the fear that asking for help will erase the very voice that made the work worth writing.

Love JMT begins there.

The writer brings the voice, vision, memory, humor, rhythm, and reason for telling the story. The technology helps hold what is difficult to carry alone.

  • The pocket app catches the thought before it disappears—photo, drawing, handwriting, audio, and text in one living Scrap.
  • The Writer’s Desk helps the work grow without quietly replacing the writer—and an academic integrity trail can show agents and instructors how you wrote, including where AI assisted.
  • The Academy teaches without taking over.
  • The Coffee Shop creates room for safe, consent-based feedback—inside the product, not only in a Discord sidebar.
  • The Reading Room, Press, and creator partnerships help finished work move toward readers.

AI is one partner in that journey—not the author, not the destination, and not the most important presence in the room.

Our goal is not to make the machine sound more human.

Our goal is to remove the barriers that have kept human voices from being heard.

Catch what finds you

Not only dictation into a project. A field notebook for writers: photograph a house, sketch a porch on it, record a sound, paste a line, capture handwriting into editable text—and keep it as one Scrap until you are ready to file it.

Inspiration can grow into a Scrap, a draft, a binder, a series—or stay messy forever. Organize later is a first-class outcome. The phone is a creative pocket, not a smaller novel generator.

Stay the author

Workshop is a coach, not a ghostwriter. Cleanup fixes spelling and grammar in your words. Ask answers questions without rewriting the page. Revise suggests in the margin—and nothing enters the draft until you Accept.

Originals stay available through carbon copies. Significant changes are visible. Intervention stays under your control. We do not sell style-matching that casually replaces your presence, or chapter generation as the center of the product.

For school, workshops, and professional review, Love JMT includes an academic integrity trail: a process record you can share with an agent, instructor, or editor—how you wrote, where AI assisted, and what you accepted—so your authorship can be discussed with evidence, not guessed at. It is a signal for conversation, not a verdict machine, and it lives quietly in the binder—not as a wall of cards on this page.

Help the work find its readers

A manuscript is not the end of the journey. Love JMT connects craft to community and, over time, to publication and discovery: The Coffee Shop for consent-based feedback, The Wall and Writing Fuel for sparks, The Reading Room for rights-cleared readings, and The Press for selective publishing with transparent royalties.

That path—access, capture, authorship protection, community, publication, and readers—is the distance we are building from tools that stop at generated prose.

The desk is the middle of the path

Yes, Love JMT includes binders, memory, Listen, and Workshop. Many serious writing tools now offer project context and mobile drafting too. We do not pretend otherwise.

What we refuse to do is let the desk become the whole story. The desk holds the work. The partnership around it—capture, integrity, Café, Academy, Reading Room, and Press—is what Love JMT is for.
